Employment Services of Weld County published a
Request for Proposal (RFP) in May 2001 requesting interested local
entities to submit a proposal for the delivery of the 10 elements under the
Workforce Investment Act Youth Program.
There were no responses to the RFP, therefore, Employment Services
of Weld County provides the required services needed by eligible
youth enrolled in the WIA program.
Some of these services may be
purchased and examples of purchased services include such things as providing youth with vouchers for transportation (e.g. gas vouchers or bus passes), supportive
services (work clothing, day care assistance, etc.), or assistance with
tuition for post secondary education. Youth may be referred to other local youth
serving agencies for additional assistance as needed based upon the individual
youth’s circumstances. |
