Online Reference Library

The library contains information on various topics in unemployment law, including relevant statutes and regulations, as well as caselaw from the Colorado courts.  This is not an exhaustive list of every statute and court decision that involves unemployment insurance, nor is there information on every issue that can arise in this area.  Rather, this website is designed to provide a general overview of the law concerning the most commonly occurring unemployment issues.

For each topic listed in the Subject Index in the left-hand column, the relevant sections of the Colorado Employment Security Act (from the Colorado Revised Statutes) and the Regulations Concerning Employment Security (from the Code of Colorado Regulations) are listed in the right-hand column.  The complete Colorado Employment Security Act and Regulations Concerning Employment Security can be accessed by clicking on the appropriate link at the top of the column.

To access the library page for a particular topic, click on the topic heading in the Subject Index.  Each library page contains the text of the relevant statutes and regulations, as well as summaries of any significant cases decided by the Colorado courts on that issue, and links to the full text of those decisions.
