Colorado unemployment insurance laws comply with UI Modernization provisions concerning
separating from employment for compelling family reasons. The annual estimated cost of these provisions is $2,354,970.
- By implementing these
provisions, the state of Colorado will receive $127,469,762
in federal incentive funding.
- Colorado law currently
allows for the payment of benefits to persons seeking part-time
employment.
- Over the next 10 years, the
department anticipates receiving between $6,362,600 and
$8,286,185 in annual
interest earned from the federal UI Modernization distribution.
