GETTING STARTED

Information regarding the IAIABC’s national standards for claims submission is published in the IAIABC’s EDI Release 1 Implementation Guide.  Standards for Proof of Coverage are published in the IAIABC EDI POC Release 2 Implementation Guide.  In addition, the IAIABC has created a Best Practices Guide for EDI users.  These Guides are available on the IAIABC Web Site,  and provide the information necessary to assist DOWC and its trading partners in implementing EDI.  They include a data dictionary, record layouts, data definitions, etc.
