CareerReady Colorado Certificate

comparisons between an individual's skill levels and the skill levels

Request, Recommend or Require:
- Request: Ask job applicants, “Do you have a
CareerReady Colorado Certificate?”
- Recommend: When you post positions, state that
having a CareerReady Colorado Certificate is “recommended” or that
certificate-holders are
“preferred.” Provide information on where candidates can test.
- Require: If a specific job has been profiled by your
business, require that applicants have a CareerReady Colorado
Certificate in order to be
considered for the position. If a job is profiled, you can also
use the certificate to evaluate employees for promotion.
