This report, published annually in July, is a compilation of employment and wage data from the Colorado ES202. The information is compiled from reports submitted to the Colorado Department of Labor & Employment by employers subject to the Unemployment Insurance law under the Colorado Employment Security Act. Also, included in this report are employment and wage data for federal government employees in Colorado.
Employment and wage information is compiled by county and industry for private business and government. Some data items are not available for public disclosure in accordance with U.S. Department of Labor guidelines.
The publication of this data is delayed because of time constraints imposed by the filing of the Unemployment Insurance Tax Report which is not due until 30 days following the end of the quarter. Posting, processing, editing and writing add an additional six months to the wait time.
